Summer Bucket List

Sunny days and long summer nights are officially here to stay. Time to soak up some rays and get the most out of the best season of the year before it’s too late! We put together a quick list of our top Summer Bucket-List things to do all around Atlanta:

1. Ponce City Farmers Market

Located at one of the biggest hot-spots of ATL, the Ponce City Farmers Market is family-friendly and one of the best ways you could support your local community. The market is located off the Atlanta BeltLine in The Shed beside Ponce City Market and runs seasonally every Tuesday from 4-8 pm until November. Some of our favorite vendors include Bee Wild Honey, King of Crops, Wanderlust Coffee, and so many more!

2. Shoot the Hooch

Aptly named the "River of Painted Rocks”, the Chattahoochee is our top pick for the summer. With multiple outlets to hop into the river, all you need is a group of friends, a raft, and off you go! Depending on if you’re renting a kayak, tube, or other floating device, prices range from $30 to completely FREE. Plan your hooch trip here.

3. Atlanta Summer Beer Fest

Why go to one Atlanta brewery when you could check out them all?! Located in Old Fourth Ward Park, you can sample over 200 cold, refreshing beers while jamming out with your friends in the hot Georgia sun. You can find more information about ticket pricing, beer lists, and entertainment here.

4. Centennial Olympic Park Fountains

Cheesy and oh-so-touristy but who cares! For all the parents out there, this is a must-do. With two playgrounds and an interactive water fountain, this is the perfect place to cool down and relax while your kid has the time of their life (and maybe take a run through too)! Check out the SkyView Ferris Wheel while you’re there for the full Atlanta tourist experience.

5. BeltLine Breweries

As if the BeltLine couldn’t get any better, Monday Night Brewing is opening their second location Summer 2017! The 22,000 square foot location is along the BeltLine’s new ”Southwest corridor" and will host multiple tasting rooms, dog- and bike-friendly outdoor space, and an orchard to fresh fruit for beer production. Cheers!
