Our Favorite Studios to Work Out

Now that Easter’s over, it’s time to put down the chocolate bunnies and pick up some free weights. Summer will be here before you know it, and we want to be prepared accordingly. Even if you’ve never worked out in work out clothes, you can find a class you love at one of these local studios.    

1. We love DEFINE Atlanta, and not just because our own Jessi Ford is an instructor there. They offer everything from Rev, an indoor cycling class, to Bounce, a trampoline cardio workout. Each teacher adds their own spin to class, so every session is different, fun and a killer calorie burner.

2. For those of us who dreamed of being a ballerina but never got to be one, Pink Barre is here for you. Their low-impact, ballet-infused workouts will make you long, lean, and fit just like the ballerinas you always admired.

3. FORME Studios boast that you can burn up to 1,000 calories in a 55-minute class, and they’re not exaggerating. If you need to quickly get ready for a beach trip or big event, this is the place to do it. Their heart pounding classes will whip even the most sedentary couch potato into shape.

4. Do yoga studios intimidate you? Check out KOP Yoga in the Park. It’s not a studio, but it’s a great way to dip your toe into Atlanta’s yoga scene. Join hundreds of yogis at O4W Skate Park for an all-levels sunset class. If you love the class as much as we do, then head to Tough Love Yoga, the studio where KOP Yoga instructors, Charlie Baxter Graham and Rachelle Knowles, hail from. Namaste y’all.
