Best Coffee Shops in Atlanta

The Birds have a serious caffeine addiction and some serious opinions about where to get the perfect cup of coffee. Next time you need a pick me up, head to one of our favorite coffee shops – trust us, we’re experts on the subject.

We have to start off with Aurora Coffee. It’s an old favorite as we spent many hours there in the early days of the Birds. If you need an Americano to power you through a lot of work, then this is your spot.

Dancing Goats is tucked away in Ponce City Market, on the corner of North Ave. and Glen Iris Dr. The spacious screened in porch is worth the walk to the front door and is a great place to curl up with a book and your favorite caffeinated beverage.

Octane has several locations around Atlanta, but our favorite is the original on the Westside. Grab a vanilla latte and Sublime doughnut for an AM boost, but come back at night for a craft beer at their in-house bar.

How could we not love a coffee shop that is just steps away from our office? Firelight Coffee Roasters sits on the lower floor of our building, Strongbox West, and is perfect for when a Thursday feels like a Monday.

If you can tell your African coffee beans from your South American blends, then head to San Francisco Coffee Roasting Company. They have a wall full of different roasts. It’s a coffee snob’s dream, and we say snob as a term of endearment.
