Where to De-Stress in Atlanta

To say 2016 has been a rollercoaster is a giant understatement. It’s more like a rollercoaster that turns into a waterslide halfway through and then plunges into The Upside-down from Stranger Things. With the election and most of the year behind us, it’s time to de-stress and recharge. Here are some of our favorite place to find a little quiet around the city.

1. Piedmont Park is a fall wonderland right now. Walking under the yellow-orange canopy of leaves is one of the fastest ways to clear your mind.

2. Sit in front of the Ocean Voyager gallery, the giant whale shark viewing window at the Georgia Aquarium, and you will instantly feel relaxed. Let the blue glow from the tank wash away your worries.

3. The outdoor patio at Dancing Goats Coffee Bar is the perfect mix of quiet and bustle. Find yourself a rocking chair and sway the stress away.

4. You’ll start to feel zen surrounded by waterfalls, a koi pond, and cherry orchards at the Carter Presidential Center Gardens.
